I think that was the name of the event. Basically, it tells you that if you, as the Union, do not advance into Virginia within two turns, you lose 10 NM.
Well, when I got this event, I already had two big forces in Va, at Alexandria and Harpers Ferry. But I thought maybe the event meant I had to push farther south, as it was too easy as is. So, I took Manassas (it was practically undefended, the CSA AI had decided to pull Beauregard further south), and praise was heaped on McDowell, Hunter and company for stomping the poor Va militia left holding Manassas.
But, two turns later I got the message that the drive was a failure, and the public was disgusted at me (-10 NW).
So, just out of curousity, for future reference, what does the Forward to Richmond! event demand of a player? Actually to take Richmond maybe???
