CSA Invades KY Late

In a current AI game, I invaded KY as the USA in August 61 and took possession of the entire state.

However, in Nov, the game announces that the CSA has conducted a pre-emptive invasion of KY, and lo!: there are CSA units (volunteers) all over the state, including in towns far from the front that I was no longer garrisoning.

Hard to figure out how the AI could invade after I had done so quite a while ago. I seem to recall a thread on this but couldn't find it.

I'm playing 1.16rc4a.

Any ideas?

I don’t remember if I started a topic on it or it was something I posted in another topic but it happened to me on about three or four occasions.

All you can do is run because it will take units left in KY for ever to replenish.

There was never a resolution to the problem, so far as I know.

Can you post a Saved Game?

Turn the (bugged) event triggered, plus \Backup1 folder.

If i counted correctly, these should be the files for E Nov and L Oct 61: the turn of the CSA invasion, and the turn before it. If not, let me know.
