Supply questions

Sat May 15, 2010 11:28 pm

Hello,

I have the following situation:
Image

The army in Warren in not in supply.

Is this because the army is too big for the city (ie, the city cannot produce enough supplies)?

Are more supplies not getting through because all the surrounding regions are under confederate control (well, they have the stars and bars on them!)?

How can I rectfy the situation? If I advance through those regions, they come under my control right?

Cheers

You have to have at least 25% MC to use railroads. You obviously have this, so I don't know what's happening. Supply is always a little weird in KY.

A few thoughts/observations:

1. I don't see a depot in Bowling Green. As it is a size 1 city, it doesn't move much supply (refer to Gray's supply primer).

2. It appears to be snowing. Supply travels by wagon, and with snow, they move less. Winter is always a bad time for supply.

3. Bowling Greene only provides 11 supply a turn (I assume that your cursor is there, and that the top bar is showing what is being produced there).

4. It appears that you have at least 25% MC in all surrounding areas (they are green).

As to fixing the problem. I would recommend a supply wagon moving to that location (it stores supply, and acts as a supply magnet) to help your troops. Or build a depot in Bowling Greene. That will pull supply from other areas.
Remember - The beatings will continue until morale improves.
