Johnny Dennis, we have had forums and an active community for AACW ever since the game was released a year and a half ago. Why not take a little time to get to know the place and what can be found of info here and then in turn see how things can be improved and clarified? :)

Huh? At first I thought he was going to list acronyms. But some of these are seriously simplistic. Not worthy of an entry. The definition of State? And it's not filled in? Shoot me in the head now and get it over with. ArgHHHHHHH.

Guys, we've all been new on this forum, and it takes time to find one's footing when you're in a new place. Let's give Johnny Dennis the benefit of the doubt for now and see where he wants to go with this :)

State

Wed Dec 17, 2008 7:32 pm

Interestingly enough what does State mean?

A state is a political association with effective sovereignty over a geographic area and representing a population. These may be nation states, sub-national states or multinational states. A state usually includes the set of institutions that claim the authority to make the rules that govern the exercise of coercive violence for the people of the society in that territory, though its status as a state often depends in part on being recognized by a number of other states as having internal and external sovereignty over it.

Corporal

Wed Dec 17, 2008 7:50 pm

The rank of corporal was established in 1775 with the birth of the Army and the NCO Corps. Along with the rank of sergeant, the corporal is the only rank which has never disappeared from the NCO Corps.

A noncommissioned officer, next below a sergeant. In the United States army he is the lowest noncommissioned officer in a company of infantry. He places and relieves sentinels
