Question about bombard ship button

A stack needs to have the bombard ship pushed to bombard, but I noticed that sometimes this button becomes automatically not pushed even if the it was pushed the turn before, is it a bug?

yes I ve had this same problem happen to me some times...

Dont know for sure, but I believe it can be caused for changing ROE.

If you change from defense to pasive for example, you lose all other buttons previously marked (depot destruction, rail or riverine move... and so on... even PROMOTIONS, I did lost once in a PBEM a promotion due to this)

So this can be the problem causing you un-click the bombard button.

I believe changing ROE should not UNMARK any of the other buttons
