4th Brigade of Charles S. Winder at Cedar Mountain?

Fri Oct 25, 2013 7:21 pm

Do any of you here know where might I could get detailed information on the 4th Brigade of the 1st Division under Charles S. Winder that was at the Battle of Cedar Mountain?

All I know is that it was completely comprised of Georgia regiments.

The 4th Brigade of Winder's Division at Cedar Mountain contained 13th GA, 26th GA, 38th GA, 60th GA & 61st GA Regiments. Is this what you were looking for?

Commanded by Alexander R. Lawton I believe they were armed with Enfields courtesy of a blockade runner.

Nice article about them in Maryland campaign http://antietambrigades.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/alexander-lawtons-brigade-cs.html
