Yes I'm working on a new game. I can't say if it smells of gunpowder though, the wind is not in the right direction :sourcil:

I think it’s middle ages...
The only era that missed in AGEod’ games!
BTW my guess 2 years ago about Rome before the release of FOGE was correct! :niark:

:) great keeping my finger crossed, you have my money anyway

hopefully it will have shorter turns and more operational wargaming and diplomacy than FOG ( which is a great game that i love for the idea of trade/builiding/administration thing - which makes governing country more realistic as player cannot just over-manage historical restrains)

i am pretty sure it will use FOG engine to redone PON and hit market gap there

or use mechanism of exporting battles to Pike&Shot the way it was used with FOG and thus explore XV-XVIII century europe

Cooperating with RBS and Byzantines Games was definitively a nice plus for AGEOD. Now, I have said nothing.

1. Slitherix just announced Field of Glory II: Medieval. http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 8&t=101809

2. Pocus stated that "Cooperating with RBS and Byzantines Games was definitively a nice plus for AGEOD".

Go figure...

From the Slitherine site about Field of Glory Medieval: '29 nations and factions covering North and Central Europe from 1040 AD to 1270 AD.'

So no Pechenegs but Cumans,no Seljuk Turks and Battle of Manzikert (1071). How it will be compatible- it doesn't need to be of course- with new Ageod game? No Mediterranean, Balkans and Anatolia. Assuming Ageod next title is about medieval era.

Would love to see them do this.

I actually endured a brief time of real-time nausea in order to play my beloved Kievan Rus nation in CK 2 until I could take it no longer ....

I'd buy it just for the AGEOD strategic layer.

No need of the tactical battle system tie-in (for me) unless RBS was to go back and make it more like Pike and Shot.

Sorry -- I couldn't resist this one.
Pocus might better have said that with ANYONE Matrix/Slitherine don't give much away in advance. Grigsby's War in the East II is in beta, for heaven's sake, and they still haven't "officially" announced it! :D

Of course, that might just be Grigsby's well known aversion to communication, or anything that smacks of marketing.

Well, I hope that whatever Pocus is working on is something good situated in, say, the 19th century! :siffle:

A "FoGE" type medieval adaptation would be ok, too.

I believe Slitherine&Matrix pure American gaming platform -even Iain McNeil tells :) . It is ok they promote War in the East II. Ageod games started as French&American conflicts. But with modders and devs Espana, Russian civil war, English War, Wars of Succession and Rise of Prussia. Hope to see their remake one day.
