What about a Civil War game where the battles are fought in Pike and Shot Campaigns? I downloaded a Civil War scenario and it ran pretty damn good for a tactical battle.

I suspect you are confusing game companies and games. There are some American Civil War games which allow you to do this, but not Pike and Shot

There is a mod for Pike and Shot that updated it for 19C battles.

I realise on the AGEOD board this is near heresy, but the older Forge of Freedom (from Matrix) actually has a very nice tactical battle engine. The developers used it as the basis for the truely excellent Brother against Brother tactical battles.

Nope! American Civil War. Pike and Shot had a scenario.

I was thinking it was all the same people as the Field of Glory Games, since the battles are so similar.

Pike and Shot was made by Richard Bodley Scott I believe?

But in any case, you would need to have an equivalent ACW but done with the Archon engine, like Empires. Barring that, you can't have communication.

Pocus, returning to this... Is Pike and Shot and FoG2 being similar just a coincidence? They seem very similar. The battles, I mean.
