A Vietnam War game?

Fri Nov 17, 2017 4:09 pm

Can the AGEOD combat system work for more modern games?
What does everyone think about the feasibility of a Vietnam War AGEOD game?

I think the Vietnam air-war would be a challenge for the Ageod system.

Considering the lack of strategic Vietnam games; I'd love to see them try though.

The Ho Chi Minh trail could be simulated the same way far east railroads in RUS bring in supplies. Events and regional decisions can handle a lot of the political stuff.

I have no idea whether or not that era would work with AGEOD, but I sure would love to see it happen.

I prefer an "operational game" like TOAW 4. It has a nice Vietnam scenario... and other interesting things too but it lacks the AGE engine point of view (stack composition, the cards...). Of course. Different games, different people :D
I love both.

Grand Strategy scale of Vet Nam war would be cool! With all political, social and military options. Crush the VietCong! :dada:
