Unable to register older ageod games with slitherine/matrix

I bought many of my ageod games before the slitherine matrix merger. I have valid keys for all of them but you cannot register them on the matrix site. I contacted matrix support but was told the following

"Unfortunately Wars in America is the same, if it was bought from the old Ageod site it can't be registered on Slitherine/Matrix at this time. In the event that these do come to Steam or there is a need to register these we will work on a workaround/fix, like was done for ALE, but at the moment these can't be registered. I'm sorry for this.

I thought pocus told us that our old ageod keys would be valid with matrix games. For instance what happens if we lose the download or it gets corrupted ? Have we lost our game because it cannot be downloaded anymore ?

I don't think you will have any problems with re-downloading. Just get in touch with the support guys and ask them for a link. This has nothing to do with whether or not you can register your keys on Matrix/Slitherine websites.
