Unable to edit or change profile

I am not able to edit my profile, upload a profile picture, etc. The message I keep getting says that I do not have the proper permissions and asks if I am trying to edit someone else's account. Any ideas as to why?

Any help with this by a Admin person or others would be appreciated, thanks.

I think you have to reach a certain number of posts (5? 10?) before you have full permissions

Due to Spammer activity, it is a certain amount of time, and a certain number of posts. Look here for more information.

Well, I have uploaded a picture, it says its there and it shows up at my profile wall, but it does not show up here or anywhere else in the forums when I post. I was able to add a avatar.

Ha, nevermind, I figured it out, its the avatar and not the profile picture that shows up.
