Adaptive Game Engine (AGE) information

Mon Sep 19, 2011 5:19 pm

Just for the history of it: could you give us some information regarding the AGE engine behind your most recent games? Its evolution, programming language and infrastructure, its potential, its limits, etc.

I'm fascinated by the complexity of Pride of Nations, I would love to know more about its inner workings and what can be done with it. :w00t:

Welcome to the forums!

Much info on how to use (mod) the AGE is at:

Always ask yourself: "Am I part of the Solution?" If you aren't, then you are part of the Problem!

Thank you! It's great there is a wiki about it. But what about its story? Is it true it first came out as a military simulator engine? Judging from the gazillion parameters taken into consideration when the battle screen pops up I wouldn't doubt it. :D

Also, will there be v4 of it? What are the future plans?
