Starting to use these forums today, I find that the response time when I click on something can be very long.

Is this just a temporary problem? If not, it will discourage people from participating in the forums, and also gives a bad impression of the company.

depends yes, the server is not a beast, so when there is a rush of players checking threads with image, there is a slow down. I think the admin said he want to upgrade to a new machine. I hope it will be no too long before its possible to do that.

Do you have a PHP accelerator installed?
Some of them increase the performance of a PHP site x3 times.
If not, you should really consider installing one of those.
I could recommend you 1 or 2.
