When playing AACW, for some reason the music never much appealed to me, so I turned it off.

This week, playing WIA & NCP, I am surprised by how much I like those games' music. Excellent choices, very rousing, bears repeated listening.

Bravo! :fleurs:

The WIA soundtrack was done by a US Army Pipe and Drum Corps.

if you want to listen some military spanish music of the period look here

I guess this could be added to NCP soundtrack or at least I cannot see any copyright here. Just with changing the names and adding them to the musics.ini file in the sounds folder. The pity is that the quality is a bit worse, mp3 32 kbps and in NCP mp3 128 kbps.

An idea to improve the game could be to hear these sounds when playing the PW with the spanish side, and only listen to the default music (french) when you engage in combat. No idea if the engine could support this feature

Please remember me of this issue, at some point, later.
I already enriched my NCP installation with additional soundtracks: we could post a public pack with all them!
No copywright troubles: it's traditional public domain music! :neener:
