Conquest Of The Aegean

Tue Jun 13, 2006 4:03 pm

I wonder if Conquest Of The Aegean would be available by Physical Shipment instead of Digital Download, the only possibility on Matrix shop ?

Robin,

There is little reason to go for the boxed version unless you can get it cheaper. There are no printed manuals. 6 PDF documents of 530 pages total (in screen and print formats).

I'm not sure about Robin but actually there are a couple reasons for some people to get the CD-Rom version...
1. Some of us still have dial-up making a download not a fun experience.
2. Also In this case NWS is selling the CD-Rom for $49.00 where Matrix has already said they will charge $59.00 if you want the CD-Rom..

Thank guys !

I prefer to buy the box, even if there is no print manual. I like to "see" what I buy... This box will join my game collection on my desk !

I'm really impatient to discover all the changes since the first Airborne Assault :p leure:

I send my command in your shop two hours ago...
I hope you'll have it quickly.

For those who do not know it yet, here is an awesome AAR by our friend Markshot (Beta team). Enjoy!

I strongly recommend COTA; I did a review for Armchair General magazine's website.

Very detailed, very in-depth, but VERY playable.

I'm completing a review for Cyberstratege, French paper magazine focused on strategy, and I confirm : very playable. Too much playable : I can't stop to play with it... !

Argh, this Hill 107 on Malene campaign is a real nightmare for me...

I know necromancy is bad, I am sorry.

But I have just bought this game. :)

First impression: OMFG, this seems a harcore wargamer dream at this level !

First problem: I hope I'll master the beast because I am not such an hardcore wargamer. :D

I am interested in COTA as well as WITP Chris. Have the prices gone down due to the present economic crisis? L3

I don't think he will answer you, this thread date back to 2006.

Matrix currently do sales for XMas, if you like their games.

I loved UV, I found WitP unplayable (and I bought it). Too big, too long, too monstre game.
