In addition to my anticipation of AGEOD's new game...

I long ago discovered X-COM: UFO Defense and still play it and I just learned that Firaxis is releasing a "re-imagining" of that old chestnut.

Civilization 4 is widele considered as one of the best games EVAH and Civ5 will get expansion it deserves soon, so Firaxis is definetely a company that can handle X-COM.
