Where to get authentic music?

Sat Jan 21, 2012 10:42 am

All of AGEOD games have historical settings. I'd like to add some atmosphere with packs of 17-18 centuries music. It should be in public domain so it strange that you can't find it. Everybody knows Bach or Mozart but try to find their, ehm, "dicography". So, can anybody show me the way to resources with classical music?

Err. no, it's not in the public domain. Any music files you would find would of course be recent interpretations of classic music and therefore (the performance) copyrightable.

Beleive it or not, classical musicians need to eat. And most of them are not all that well paid to begin with.
