At first I was interested, but after reading about wild outcomes and nations having massive numbers of armored divisions early in the game, I figure that it is a bit to fantastical for my taste. This always seems to happen with historical strategy games, as opposed to historical wargames. Wargames are more focused on a particular battle/war and results usually don't stray to far from historical probability, while strategy games, such as Making History, by allowing a more freeform game, usually stray very far from hisorical probability and eventually become pure fantasy.
That's why I like the AGEOD system. There is enough freedom to pursue victory in several different ways, but the ways possible would also have been present to our historical counterparts. No Turkish intervention in the AWI for instance but the ability to forstall French intervention. No guaranteed historical outcomes but some plausible uncertainty. I am really excited about the announced upcoming games and look forward to the next title after Vainglory of Nations.
