Games for someone whos a War Game dummy?

Sun Jan 30, 2011 3:59 am

Hi
I'm an older gamer..just turned 65..I already have Montjoie...Is their another Ageod game that isn't to difficult to learn for a strategy game newbie?

and of coarse being a little older might increase my dummy quotient.. :D

I know a 200 page pdf manual would be a real challenge.any recommends?

Do not understimate yourself or your abilities, because everyone of us has started wargaming in one or the other way.
I personally suggest you to try your luck with Birth of America and give yourself the possibility to learn something about the basics of the AGE-Engine.
You can do nothing wrong with that.

A propos, welcome in this halls and have fun...

I would have advised you to start with Birth of America, which is the simplest, so you did well.

Try to learn how supplies work. The rest flows naturally.
