Graphics viewing disallowed when not logged in ?

Thu Jan 25, 2007 1:10 pm

Hi,

Is there any particular reason why screenshots/graphics can't be viewed by people who haven't logged-in at the forum ?

To see what I mean :

1) Log out
2) http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=2158
3) try to look at the screenshot ->
"vBulletin Message: You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page."

It's a bit counter-productive imho

This phenomen only occurs when you're browsing Barney's Beta AAR.

That's because Barney is using a peculiar technique which uses AGEOD servor disk space. Therefore, you must have acces to the servor to see the file (ie: to be logged).

I'm going to contact Barney to advise him to use another technique (External image hosting. ex: ImageShack).

Thanks for the head up.

That is a good idea as I belive ImageShack doesn't have any space limitations.

I suggest as an alternative image hosting site -- Flickr.
