I have it and I absolutely love it

I'm going to get it, but I've already got too many games I don't have time for. Strategic Command 2, Galactic Civilizations 2, Oblivion, Bowl Bound College Football, Virtual Skipper 4, BoA, plus an online Madden league and a couple of BBCF leagues. I really need to win the lottery so I can quit and have enough time for all the gaming goodness that's come out lately.

I rank this game very highly. The folks on the MMG forums refer to it as a tactical field command simulator. The immersive qualities are very impressive, and even more so when you add an ïn-the-saddle mod, which restricts camera view to the saddle.

It is very moddable and the developers post to help the community mod the game. They provide the best support I've ever seen for a commercial computer wargame. These guys have built a game from grognards.

It is a must buy for the grognard.

They've recently released a patch which unlocks the maps, we are hoping for some new maps in the new year from the modding community.

A map of Gettysburg ranks highly.
