No, this is usually, for Slitherine, only made public a few days at best before release.

Well it's two days to go and still no price. I think this is not the way to do things, not everyone has spare money lying around and might need to budget a bit to be able to buy it on release, you can never assume things about people's situation.

That will be a fairly regular price. Not a discounted/cheap title, but not a 60$+ one either. Expect a very common price tag.

It's very reasonably priced! On Steam, if you already own FOG II, you can "complete your collection" by adding Empires for $29.99 (which I did, thank you very much!) or list price is $39.99 - quite reasonable!

Also got it for 29.99 - thanks for the reasonable price.
So far - has a nice atmosphere to it - visuals and audio - performance is smooth.
I'm getting used to F1 etc keys not bringing up List of Forces etc ...
But overall - it seems quite promising ....
