Replacements

Hi All,

Im playing as Bourbons and at beginning of game (Turn 2 onward) can't understand why my hits in my replacements screen keep going up by 200-300 every single turn? I have historical attrition on, but my units are sitting on depots and not taking damage. I can't figure out what is going on. Can anyone explain?

EDIT: So, I did another game with historical attrition off and on turn 2 there is no hits damage. I understand that units not moving have desertion with historical attrition, but if 300 hits a turn is insane. The issue is, I think it's a bug because I can't even find the damaged units.

The replacement to hit ratio is not the same as in other games. 200-300 is not that much really. The game is well balanced and you can easily replace those troops.

Hi Searry,

I have no conscripts by the time the war fully starts in 1702 became of fixed units just taking unrealistic amounts of "desertion and sickness". 300 hits a turn just by sitting on depots is 18,000 troops, how is that right? That's insane. Guess I'll just play with historical attrition off.

Yea, they all get used because I'm trying to replace these attrition hits. I've never had this issue in other games using historical attrition.
