Doubts about the Danish Intervention scenario

Tue Oct 27, 2015 12:14 pm

I am playing the Danish scenario and I find that Brandeburg is neutral, is that reversible? otherwise the Historical Mansfeld march into Silesia is not possible

Yes, your card play and events bring Brandenburg into the game.

Hi, actually the only diplomatic cards present are meant to influence England or the United Provinces. Is it a bug?

If you scroll to the top of the map, you will see all of the countries who have diplomatic cards at some point in the Grand Campaign. It is a large number about 15. Not all sides get cards for all countries. Because cards are typically associated with historical treaties or efforts at treaties, some come quite a bit later in the news.
In the shorter scenarios diplomatic initiative are often done by fiat.

Hi, in fact I have found in the database the diplomatic options "Invasion of Brandenburg" and "Saxony enters the war" fot this scenario, but none of them appears in the Foreign Affairs section...

How can I solve this?

From February 1626 you have a diplomatic option to invade Brandenburg as Mansfeld did. This doesnt means tha Brandenburg enters the war, just its terrain is unlocked.
In this scenario Saxony its not available.

I mean, this diplomatic option just doesn't exist in my game. It never appears in any of the tab of the Strategic Atlas.

Good catch Sauro! i see what is happening. In the events folder, the file TYW_The_Danish_Phase.sct is missing a line for the Diplomatic options.
Open it and add this line as in the picture and it will work fine. Maybe we lost this event during a patch, i think this was ok at the first version. I will patch it anyway.
