Gabriel Bethlen negotiations

Mon Sep 07, 2015 3:41 am

Hello,

I am playing a campaign as the Imperials and I have played the Gabriel Bethlen negotiation card a few times until it was successful and subsequently played the second negotiation card. The game log said negotiations were successful and peace was signed, however he is still fighting against the Empire a few turns after it happened. Is this normal or it is a bug ?

Thanks,

Did you manage to destroy his forces? Sometimes he's still around for some reason if his troops are eliminated. But that's just my impression.

No, he was actually still attacking, I had only managed to weaken his forces...

I suppouse you're playing full Campaign.
In the scenario of the Bohemian Revolt the event works fine and Bethlen and his troops away from the game .

Cheers.

I actually have the save, but I abandoned that game because I had taken some really bad decisions ( unrelated to Bethlen ) :D
Do you just need the .hst file, or the whole directory with backup subdirectories in it ?

PS
Now on my second playthrough the decision worked correctly, Bethlen was removed after playing the second card successfully
