Poll. What side will you play?

I don't know how to post a poll, so just reply. I have a theory on what side people will play, or a hunch.

I'm playing the HRE. If I recall correctly, they lost and I like playing the side that loses (with a few exceptions).

I'm also playing the Catholics. I haven't got a strong reason, but there's an incentive to try to suffocate the rebellion before it grows bigger.

My interpretation is that it was more like a draw.

imo, France won. Sweden won. Denmark lost. The Emperor won as he achieve a military power he did not had in 1618. Bavaria at least won the title of Elector.
But Germany lost.
And Spain lost.

I intend to play both sides at some point but I really do not believe that anybody won in any meaningful sense and am quite certain that Germany as a whole, lost. That said, the Treaty of Westphalia did establish rules for the interactions between European nation states that ultimately filtered down through the global family of nations and lasted into the 21st Century. Not an entirely negative outcome so long as "your" side held the whip hand.

Can´t stop playing Sweden. Interesting time in military and Swedish history. The Lion of the North developed new cav-, art- and inf-tactics. Creative innovations that made Sweden became a super power for almost 100 years.
