Uploaded latest patch but screen still shows 04 Feb as the latest patch. Upload was as per normal and as per default, no errors whilst uploading patch. How do I check that I do indeed have the latest patch?

Because of some forgotten sons... err files, the March 9th patch has been uploaded again with the missing bits.


So technically that's a March10th patch, but you have to know only 2 things:

a) it fixes further events
b) if you downloaded it before RIGHT NOW, March 10, 16:40 GMT, then download it again to have the very latest version. :)

Small update on the March 9th patch (now called March 11 patch, yes that's unbelievable) with 2 extra fixes for ships, more events fixed and new text for the Spanish version!

If you manage to play I gather it means installation problem is gone?

As for the game you get, it has been fixed in the public beta patch we are proposing in the Help Improve WON subforum. Soon to be official by the way.

Just an FYI...I have been having issues with MatixGames installers lately on my Surface Pro. I found that if I temporarily disable Windows Defender real-time, it works.

I get same errors in log, but no CTD.....

Just to clarify this further, the problem is with the French 1805 Jan start date. If I start a campaign with the British, I am able to play as normal.

yeah plus while I have made Bavaria a full member of my alliance, in the 8-15 october 1805 turn Prussia dows it... Soooooo I will have to counter dow Prussia and I can't know for sure if Bavaria won't later on sign a separate peace before I get to go all the way to Tilsit getting a bunch of territory and stuff tha I won't have and therefore won't be able to do Westphalia, etc, etc....

It's a public beta hosted by ageod. Matrix won't be able to do anything about it, except sending you back here. Only solutions are reinstalling the previous beta or wait for the next.

Does anyone have the March 24 beta ? I did a clean reinstal on a new computer and was looking forward to playing this weekend... didn't go as planned ! So I only have the original game and the latest beta on this machine. Thanks !
