Currently I: Use all the RGD I can including Runners, Export goods
Try to raise loyalty and development on cities
Building privateers to raid and make money
Building Merchantmen and send them to the merchant boxes
Anything else?
I'm just learning the game myself, but I believe...
Sources of money:
• City income on the 2nd week of every month, and yes captured towns can add income and WS.
• Merchant shipping every turn; this is a main source of income for England but can dry up for France.
• Twice a year special events for each country.
• Taxes in exchange for EP.
• Aid from other nations.
• Reparations paid as part of a peace deal.
RDC cards:
• Requisitions, an excellent way to devastate your realm.
• Plunder, done to small town under 50% loyalty using cavalry.
• Runners, provide cash and WS in exchange for 1 NM.
• Export goods, can be canceled by the presence of enemy warships.
• Smuggle goods, played by the English but also benefits the French.
Remember that NM impacts almost everything in WON. High numbers give you more money, horses, conscripts and WS. Low numbers cut the amount collected.
