Where is 1.03 Update?

A couple of weeks ago I saw an unofficial 1.03 update from AGEOD posted on this forum and now it's gone. The message suggested that it went to Matrix but Matrix hasn't released an official 1.03 update yet. Since I discovered too many problems with unofficial AGEOD WoN updates I didn't waste my time downloading from here. They don't install to the proper location plus they create a second version of the program. The official 1.02 Matrix patch wouldn't overwrite the unofficial AGEOD one so I had to waste more time uninstalling game to reinstall with the official 1.02 update properly updated.

So where is the 1.03 WoN patch? Will there even be one? I just won't play this poorly done game because version 1.02 just isn't worth wasting time on. I'm hoping 1.03 will improve things but don't hold out much hope it will so that I want to play this game and get my money's worth out of it. Even with a 30% discount this poorly done game has been a waste of time and money.

Hope they release an official patch as there are no such wego napoleonic strategic games around. :<

Thanks but I won't touch beta patches any longer. AGEOD did a poor job with prior ones and I'm not wasting my time with unofficial patches that create a second version of the program and don't place files and folders in the proper places.

It just amuses me no end about how this guy, who calls the game garbage and feels the same about the company, on both forums, is so worried about where the patch is....

As for the beta patch doing what he claims, it doesn't. It installs where it's supposed to.

I am in 4 pbems. I made 2 won installs on my computer. My 2 games in TGHQ club are with 1.02 official patch, my other 2 games i play with some Ageod forum friends are with 1.03 public october patch. Yes would be great if we had 1 single official patch though.
