February 1806, I am at peace with everybody (Pressburg fired, peace with Russia for 1200 gold) but England, my corps are staggered accross southern Germany (Regensburg, Passau, Linz, Salzburg, Wien) to wait winter out... During which I have my little naval battles against england, dispatching of new generals, etc...
And then as I look through my messages in the 2nd turn of february I see that my division x of corps x has had 25 hits for lack of supply... I go and have a look and yes, my two corps in Muenchen are starving..
Did I mentionned I built depots in Ulm, the two provinces below, the second province west of REgensburg, the province just north of Munchen and the province just west of Passau ?
F*** this. I am sick of randam starving even when I build pretty much all the depots I can. There is something borked in the supply system. It just doesnt' matter if I build depots in allies territory, If I live off THEIR supply they don't have enough to feed the Grande Armée !
Am sick of this. Taking a break for a while.
Cheers.

It says the file is too large (2.99MB with winrar). Should I just upload backup 1 or which file exactly in the save ?

Ideal would be to temporary share file via dropbox.
If that's not possible ziping hst file should be enough.

It looks like this was started with an older patch; all of the depots are Bavarian, Wurtemburger, Rhine Confed, etc. So they are only moving their national supply, not French supply.
Also, Napoleon, in real life, never cantoned two corps in the same province because it overloaded an ally's capacity to feed them. And Munich has no depot so it is not pulling supply, it is only working with what Munich creates, so it was a bad place to put troops.
Hopefully the new beta patch works and we can build our national depots in allied territory and have them stay ours.

I built all those depots while at war with Austria, after Pressburg they all reverted to Bavaria / Kingdom of Italia.
The Munchen depot got destroyed when Austria took it back with a small stack and I didn't have time to build it again before accepting Pressburg, I should have waited for that.
And sorry but having 2 corps in one province spending winter isn't like having 4 or 5. Munchen isn't a small backward province, it was a solid urban center that could harbor 2 corps.

I'm presently trying to figure out how to build Russian depots on Austrian soil. Seems I can't. Are you saying that there's a patch coming for this?

With the Feb04 beta patch
---> Public beta patch 1.02 , February 4th version <--- you can build depots in allied territory where there is no allied owned city or depot, so basically in the field.

Ah, right in time. The Russians are just crossing the border, aiming for Olmütz.
