I'm playing out France invading ireland. basically my strategy was after beating austria to not do much more - and build up navy to accomplish task.
success in launching enhanced fleet from Breast and winning navel battle - will also landing another transport fleet in bantry ( tried cork - but much bigger english force there).
will see what i can do.
Historically this is not a bad idea for France. They were supposed to do it in 1799. with local support france could of launched wider spread attacks on england or certainly distracted them.
For the game - I wish that the game would support this by triggering militia (irish rebels) to support a successful invasion, and perhaps a scripted event if the french get Dublin establishing a free ireland!
