As Spain, i want to switch alliance and side GB versus France (some objectives are in France)
GB sued for peace and gace Malta (totally silly ofc from them because remember that Malta was the starting point for the war in Europe)
then i invaded portugal, morocco, algeria to grab objectives.
if i want to have the army reform, i need France to invade me ^^
i play the 1810 january month from GC 1805.

-How may i reduce diplomacy value with France ?? still +100 (i dowed minors like tuscany or grand duchy of warsaw but nothing happent)

==> How may i dow France since no diplomacies options allow to reduce France's diplomacy value in any ways either trough diplomats or through wars !!

Seems that, as Spain, i'm linked with France until 1815

Had a similar problem but totally the other way round

You can go to the diplomacy ledger, click on the first tab which shows the treaties in place, and click on the treaty you want to remove. Then it is removed. Worked as France for me so maybe...

The bigger issue is that these events are forcing historical game play. A better approach is to enable 2 events for Army Reforms. First event checks for Spanish DOW of France. Second event checks that Spanish DOW hasn't happened and then enables Army Reforms via a date. This gives flexibility in game play.

i was looking at something like "cancel treaty" into diplomacy available treaties tab and not to click on current treaties to cancel it....

about historical script, yes that can be a mess when .... you ahistorically play
actually, as spain in 1810, i NEED a french invasion for the reform ....

Spain has a Defensive Treaty with France. Select France for the right side of the Foreign Ministry window <F6> and then click on Treaties in Effect. There you will see the French-Spanish treaty.



Click on the hands to cancel the treaty. Once you've clicked on the hands it will appear under Treaty Sent.



Execute the turn and the treaty will have been canceled. Then you can CB and DoW.
