Exactly how does the Treaty of Pressburg Event work, so that Bavaria gets Tyrol, and France receives reparations?

Take Wein. The event pops up. Click the event. Accept the peace proposal.

I have taken Wein plus a load of other strategic cities and destroyed all the Aus/Rus armies i can find but still no Pressburg option?
Can one of the devs please tell us exactly what the conditions for this event are?

As France, when you start the campaign (January or August) you get a "hint" event (with no conditions) telling you in details How to get the Pressburg peace... that texts says:
France will be able to send a peace offer to Austria, with favorable terms (Tirol to Bavaria, Venetia to Kingdom of Italy, Peace, 1,000 VP plus 2,000 Thousand Francs in War Indemnities) if she achieves the following:§§Control of Wien§Austrian Moral <75 and below the French one§At least 10 divisions within Austria-Hungary.
Don't you see it? If you don't, it means you have not reached all the required conditions.

I capture Vienna, the Event fires, I select the "Treaty of Pressburg" Event in the "Laws and Decrees" (F4) screen - and then nothing. I have played several turns after the Event.

Yeah this happened to me also, there seems to be a bug with the firing of this event

Confirm event is broken for me too - please look at in first patch as not being able to successfully conclude first campaign is very annoying.

Did France accept the peace treaty after Pressburg?

Playing as French.

I understand. Get Wein. Click Pressburg Event. Next turn there might be a message that they are deliberating it, but once that's done, there's an option under politics to accept peace from Austria. At least that's my understanding of this.

Same issue. I clicked the event and then received a peace proposal from Austria which I accepted, but it was just a regular peace proposal : 768€ per year for 20 years but No Tyrol to Bavaria, no Venezia to the Kingdom of Italy, no surge in VPs nor in gold. I now occupy all major cities bar Pecs and we are in the last turn of 1805.

You should NEVER discuss peace of Pressburg through the usual Diplomatic interface / menu...it ONLY works with option (F3-F4 windows)

The problem is you send the offer through f4 screen....the next turn you get a notification that a conference is being held at Pressburg...the next turn nothing and the war carries on (Austria will accept peace through the normal diplomacy screen but with no hope of the user claiming the regions you need to trigger the dissolution of the HRE).

It's not working like this with me...I need your save then...it takes 3 "turns" for the peace to take effects, so be patient..
1 - France can send the offer when conditions met
2 - following turn, Austria can accept it (it may well refuse it too !!!), and if so the event tells you about the 'conference'
3 - next turn, Peace is signed
4 - 2 turns AFTER peace is signed, Bavaria gets Tirol and KOI gains Venetia/Friul

Thanks I need to check what happened : I think I clicked the Option on the F4 ledger, but I am not quite sure I had the message about the conference.
What happens if Austria refuses ??? Does the F4 event reappear for you to click later on or does the offer still "stand" until eventually Austria accepts ??
The whole sequence could use clarification to be honest !
EDIT : If austria sends you another peace offer, does it mean it refused the Pressburg one or maybe just that "peace seeking AI" doesn't know of it because it was an outside event, ie outside of its own logic ?

Hi,
I have started again and am making sure I save my turns - I will send you a save if it happens again - whats the best way of doing this?
Thanks

post save hereo r send it by mail, if not too big, to
pthibaut@ageod.net
BUT much more important than the save (or at least as much) are the Script reports of ALL the turns during which the Pressburg stuff goes on...because reading them allows me to check if anything goes wrong in your scripts...the only way to solve the issue, IF there is one.

Still not working for me I got the Pressburg option in F4 - activated it and got the 'conference' event the next turn.
After that nothing even 3 or four turns later.
I have sent you an email with the save attached.

Got your saves / tested / works fine. We have improved a bit on some events to fasten resolution. Inside upcoming patch

I ran the French invasion of Austria 3 times now and the French invasion of Prussia twice. Tilsit and Pressburg are doing nothing.
I thought it was lack of elements in Vienna, but I counted and my Frenchies had 101 combat elements, including artillery.

TC271 sent me his saves, I played with them and the Pressburg treaty worked, while he saw nothing...I supposed this might come from some various other tweaks we made. So wait and see with upcoming patch

Confirming the version I am using nothing happens well into March 1806 - the AI does not seem to respond the the treaty.
I tried to work around by loading the Austrian turn and manually accepting the treaty through the F4 menu. This did cause an instant peace but even after 6 later turns the territory did not change hands and had some very odd side effects (the corps in Austrian terrioty got auto moved back into Bavaria but Napoleon and the Guard seem to have being permanently removed from the game) . Also the text descriptions relating to the Pressburg events were corrupted or missing.
In conclusion I am eagerly anticipating the patch!

I have experienced something very weird... the event wouldn't fire so I checked on the Austrian side of the fence and they hadn't clicked on the event either, so I clicked for them, saved and went back to the french side (btw the austrians were sitting on 470 engagement points !!!). then the next turn the peace fired BUT funnily enough, no money nor VP for me, no Tyrol for Bavaria nor Venezia for the kingdom of Italy, it looked as if it fired some sort of blank peace ???

No, it did fire but the benefits (in vanilla version) only show up after 3 full turns

AHHHHHH that's cool, but it would be great if it was clearly explained somewhere !
Thanks for the precision. For me it looks as if the hang up was due to Austria never clicking on the 10 EP "Pressburg Peace" F4 option until I did it manually. since it had 470 EPs it looks as it might have frozen EP wise.

You should get the option as 'locked' explaining you how to proceed...

AI would always take the option now if it has at least 10 EP (I made it a 100% probability!)...if it did not, then something is wrong with the AI

When I went to the Autrian side of things (loaded the game as Austrians), it had 470 EPs !!! So I guess there might be an issue of idle diplomatic/production AI there, because militarily wise it did keep on moving.
