Military Control change

Fri Aug 07, 2015 11:10 am

This is something very minor but it always irked me a little bit in other AGEOD games and that is that military control can only be achieved by actually moving into a province.
What I would like is some kind of "bleeding over" mechanic. For example, each adjacent controlled province could give 2 % military control per turn. So if one side controls all surrounding provinces one single province would change control very quickly. You would still have to take control of large parts of the territory but not all.

And also it would take care of the stupid "60 % control after 3 years of continuous occupation".

No, Loyalty can help when there is no army in a loyal region.

That should not be in the phylosophy of the games: if you want something you have to actually do it.
There is no military control where you don't want to risk your troops:
you let here the small 'paradise' islands waiting for resistants to rise.

And also it would take care of the stupid "60 % control after 3 years of continuous occupation".

In what game? In RUS-Gold the timing seems good.
