The strategy:
Lets start with the colonies - there we want to take out the German colonies in Africa first - to free up all our colonial units and the ones of our allies. Then we will make good use of them - we discussed already long term plans of invasions with our allies WE and EE, but we will not reveal them yet ;-D - comes time - comes tea...
We also hunt the German raiders a bit.
Lets come to fleet management. We are partially shocked about so little transport potential, but we understand that the transports are first being used to bring in lots of tea - so the morale of our units stays high during this long war ;-D We will split our navy in two groups - two battle fleets to the blockade box - to start up the blockade - they have to have together at least 20kCB as the German fleet, if united, can bring up up to 16KCB - so we will need to shuffle our fleet from time to time to harbours to regain cohesion. We also send subs everywhere, where the red line is - so we see a German fleet ASAP, if it approaches - because additionally to blockading the Germans - we also need to protect our merchants. We hope the CPs will send their subs against our merchants, as it will make the U.S. join the WE much quicker;-D. Other then that, we blockade and hope for a risky move of the German fleet.
Our French allies will send their fleets to controle the mediteranian sea, while we will controle the rest of the worlds sea - so we always have more CB available than our opponents...
The second group is our transport group, which will move units around - some for the defense of Egypt. Some to Africa to conquer it quickly and some to Europe for our joint defense in France. We will defend in France the red line and our ally the black line and the fortresses of East France. As I am guessing, that the German player will not bring his reserves to the West, but to the East, we will destroy as many rail lines as possible and hope for a locally weak (maybe also lacking supplies and ammo) German force, that we can counter attack and take back parts of France and maybe even Belgium, before the entrenchment starts. We will as well try to keep as many Belgian units alive, as possible ;-D
Lets see - right now all our land units are fixed due to having a last tea party before the war and our TEF - Tea Expeditionary Force- (for non-British also known as BEF) is already teaching our French allies the secrets of the tea rituals, to boost their morale in the fight against the German forces. It will take at least two turns, before we can unfix the TEF, as our French allies are still dipping their croissants in our tea cups - so it needs time for them to understand the concept ;-P The TEF also brought a new invention - a moblie tea cooking device - commonly known as tank - we are sure, we will be able to make good use of it ;-D.
