Fixing replacement bug

Wed Dec 21, 2016 3:07 pm

In order to fix the replacement bug, and while we wait for a comprehensive patch including both a new executable and updated data:

Go To
<game path>\EAW\GameData\Models

Delete
Models.Cached

The next time the game will run, it will probably need up to 5 extra minutes. This will rebuild the cache with corrected data. It should fixes the bug about replacements not being used.

Cheers and have a nice Christmas all :hat:

Thanks! I'll do it and I'll report if it's working :)

Happy Holidays!

For PBEM games, does every player need to do this or just the one running the turns?

Is it necessary to do this each time you launch the game?

Just the host is enough.

No, once you have the new files you do not need to do this each launch.

Hi,

I am running TEAW 1.04 (Mar 2016 Update)

Do I need to delete the following file?
Models.Cached
