Alsace-Lorraine not part of Germany?

The Kronprinz plan says that during August "any German leaders in Germany will automatically be active".

This seems to not be the case for Alsace-Lorraine, which is VERY counterproductive for a good defense there.

I can't imagine this to be intentional? I mean, whatever your personal opinion, Alsace-Lorraine was de facto a German territory during August 1914 ;)

For now you can say that's only a plan; we know they never go perfectly :)
However, it may be WAI, if it is not just propaganda that people here were not fond of Germany.

AFAIK the plans are supposed to always go perfectly, i.e. 100 % activation rate for all commanders inside the area of the plan.

And Kronprinz plan is "in Germany".

Another minor quirk: the Austro-Hungarian defensive war plan that replaces Conrad with Eugen doesn't remove Eugen from the generals pool.
So you can have the two Eugen von Österreich twins fighting side by side ;)

Maybe Conrad should also be in the generals pool when Eugen replaces him?

I hope the devs are reading this thread, it would be great if these minor war plan bugs could be fixed at some point...
another one just came up: Moltke is "forced into retirement for failure to capture Paris" in December 1914, even if the war plan you chose is not focused on taking Paris.
