AI holding front with units inside structures

This is a dangerous situation because if I advance in the province, the enemy is trapped and has to attack instead of defending in trenches.

The AI does this a lot, also in Frankfurt in this same picture.

Even if the goal is to repair or rest damaged units, it would be better to have some units outside the building.

Wow. I had nearly forgotten this topic. Trench memory partially solved it but adressing it directly is great.
