Steam launched EAW asks for Serial Key

Having bought the game on Steam, and already played it quite a bit the last couple of days, it now suddenly asks me for a "Serial Key", like my non-Steam AGEOD games. This makes me a very sad panda, since there is no key listed in the Steam browser, and nothing in the purchase-confirmation email I got upon purchasing the game.

Please advise.

Apparently "Verify Cache Integrity" made it work again. Problem solved.
