I have the steam version - which is 1.03.01. There's no possibility of opting in to betas on steam. Can someone tell me - is the 1.03.01 the most up to date version, including betas, or is there a later beta available? Many thanks.

The 1.04 Beta (see the Help Improve EAW thread) is the most "current" in that it irons out some of the earlier bugs and plays more smoothly, but if you can't access that I think 1.03.01 is as good as you're going to get for some time to come.

Thanks. But I'm still confused. 1.04 is dated earlier than 1.03.1. Are you sure 1.04 is the most up to date patch, instead of 1.03.1?

Yep - as sure as I can be given the available information. I think the confusion arises because the 1.04 is a beta version. My understanding is that it was put in the works before the 1.03 was officially adopted and has lingered there since, but as it offers improvements over the 1.03 it is "effectively" the latest version.

It should be 1.04 (Beta Patch 1.02) - April 2016

Ok. Thanks. But I'm seeking to update my steam version - so could you make it available within the steam beta option - at the moment there are no beta options in steam? Thanks.
