question about recruitment and conscripts

Sun Sep 18, 2016 1:26 pm

Hello,

Can someone explain to me how the recruitment works exactually ?

What interests me the most at the moment:

- Why is it that reserve-units cost less conscripts then regular inf but have the same amount of men ?? I'm assuming conscripts are the amount of men available right ?
also, what determines the amount of available recruitable divisions ?

- Is there a reason why I should choose reserve units over regular ? they don't seem so diffirent .. ?

- I read in the manual about the force pool, but how do I check my current situation about this?

- The section replacement under the war prod. tab. what is this all about ?

Thx a lot in advance

Reserve divisions have less combat power but are faster to produce and/or coast less money and resources (i think)

Force Pool, basically you can only have x units of a specific type. For example lets say you can only have 15 medium artillery brigades. If you have 15 on the map, you just cant build more of them until one gets destroyed.

Replacement in complicated, type "chits" into the search and read about it, all information you need is inside this forum.

reserve units: sure they are cheaper and everything but it's only by a fraction right ?

Force Pool: in the manual it says units get more expensive the more unbalanced units get nationwise. like having too much germans and too less AH
how do I check this balance ?

replacement: what is a chits ? Can you link a usefull thread cause i did search

thx

Yes, and their combat power is also a bit lower, Militia units are even cheaper but also have a worse CP then reserve divisions.

Which page in the manual is this ?

"chits" are just...i cant explain it.
Just search for "chits" and then go through a few threads that have "reinforcements" in the title.

about the force pool

It's at page 81, "men (conscripts)"

As far as i know there is no way of knowing how much % you have of a nations troops, or no indicator about the buff or penalty as explained in the manual.
Unless you take notes and all that i guess :-D

In PBEM you practically build inf as long as leaders available for that nation available to command them. (sub faction)
Ex: As France I ran out of leaders, then started producing British inf, purchased British leaders. Later Italian inf etc..
