Dear EAW players,

Is it possible to clear enemy mines once you captured a enemy sea province? I captured Trieste as Italy but still there are enemy mines present in the Trieste sea tile. Do I need mine sweepers for this?

I was interested with this issue too and i'am not sûre it is possible.

Unfortunately no, at least not without adding some overhead to the game. The map aleas used to place mines only check for adjacent harbors when created. To make the minefields clear would require removing the map aleas and readding them each turn.
