how do you use Hoffman?

Hi I'm playing a game where the Germans attempt to overwhelm the Russians using the Moltke Plan. My question is how do I use Hoffman? I want to utilize his talents to reduce the effects of t he Russians invading Germany.

If there is a significant (in the sense that you think it's worth playing the Hoffmann card) number of Russians on actual German soil, play the card and they will lock the next turn and have their cohesion lowered. If Germany goes with the Moltke plan though, I doubt there will be many Russians on German soil. So you'd probably wanna play the card early on, and don't hold it back for a bigger army of Russians at a later date.

i think you should check out the situation when the russian army has manny units insiede your lands you should use it dont use it just for 20 k men
