some small scenarios?

I think it is an impressive game. And it is massive too. Therefore I miss some more small scenarios - are you planning some in the near future?

this would be good, relatively small campaigns such as the Ottoman front or the Somme etc.

Or just single theatres. It would be nice to have something like western/eastern front only.

In the manual, it tells us that there will be single-theatre campaigns as well as campaigns that start at different years. I'd expect those to come along as DLC a bit further down the line like 'Bloody Roads South' brought fresh content for AACW2. Hopefully, before Xmas because I don't hold out much hope of the AI pulling off any 1914 operations as successfully as we'd like to see. A 1915 start with the front lines already set will probably be much more challenging to play against the AI.

Not to sound like a prick, but 'Bloody Roads South' didn't bring fresh content. It was basically the same set of scenarios that were added into the first ACW game for free. They just decided to add the same scenarios again later on to ACW2... they just figured this time around they'd charge you for it.

The manual speaks about new theatres (= "one-front-only" war, especially interesting for CP playing) and new starting years.

That is good, but I really think that more smaller scenarios would be good as a learning tool and for some quicker games. Not every WW1 fan has the time to play the campaigns.

Guess we have to wait and see. It probably depends on the sale figures.

I would prefer scenarios such as:
- Italian Front only
- Ottoman Fronts only
- late 1917 (after collapse of Russia)

This is my only gripe about the game. I wish they had included a few small scenarios, otherwise it's a great game.
