Appreciate that Kensai, but what say we get a little pushy and ask for June 28 eh?

Have to say that I am very excited about this game, World War One is my favourite period of Military History. I am currently reading 1914-1918 The History of the First World War by David Stevenson, and it is a really good single volume book on the war.

Really enjoy Calvinus's World War One game as well, although the General (my Wife) doesn't enjoy the amount of time I am on it! So really looking forward to seeing this new one with the Ageod engine!

With all WW1 memorial events going on the next years I couldn't imagine a better time for launching a WW1 game. I hope it pays off for Ageod.

Having a dedicated TEAW forum already somehow makes me believe it will be released before the end of the year. All this announced changes in UI and unit diversity sound good.

I wonder, how

its game mechanics will differ from Calvinus World War One and from Phil Thib's board game?
it will simulate trench warfare on a strategic scale?

This is great news! I've been hoping that Ageod engine games expand into this new territory. IMO, WW1 is a more interesting conflict than WW2.

But please don't make this one such a terrible mess as that other WW1 game was on release!

Well, at least this title has correct map orientation :mdr:

Lets see what can offer this title, is hard find a good WWI title at this scale.

I actually said when Pride of Nations came out that I wanted a dedicated scenario just to WW1. But this will be even more in depth than that could have provided, I'm positive.

Been away from AGEOD so I only discovered this now.

This is great news, I 'like' WW1 much more than WW2 and I have always been sad by the total lack of WW1 presence in games (really looking forwards for Ubisofts Valliant Hearts).

An WW1 Ageod game is exactly what I needed.

Fantastic! I believe AGEOD can do a nice job with this historical period.

Too old for World War one but lived through Two and did not like it at all!
