As a long term lurker on these forums and having played for quite a while against the computer, and what's more, with college having recently finished and more time on my hands, I decided to try my luck against a real, live opponent!
Because of my inexperience, I would prefer to play as the CP, with the standard (historical) warplans for both sides.
However, I have no confidence in my own ability to avoid hitting the "back" button after a disastrous turn in which my forces get annihilated by my own incompetence (I know, I have no willpower.)
As such, in the grand tradition of Ulysses asking to be chained to the post, I am writing this to both request:
1) A worthy allied opponent who would be willing to take me on for the duration (which may or may not be long, depending on how badly I do!)
2) An impartial and friendly host, who wouldn't mind resolving the turns we both send him.
Of course, I realize that asking for a host without offering anything in return may be construed as impolite, and so I would also like to offer my own services as a host for someone who might want them. As mentioned, I have more free time now that classes are done.
