Objective list question

Sat Apr 25, 2015 7:44 pm

Greetings,

long time lurker, new poster here :)

I have a question about TEAW's objective list. (searched the EAW forum to no avail)
Once you start a a-historical campaign you pick a warplan which gives you objectives.
in my Central Power game via dice throw I ended up with the Moltke Plan for the Germans and the Prinz Plan for the Austrian-Hungarians.

You get objectives like Warsaw, Lodz etc etc and for the Austrian-Hungarians it was important to hold onto Lemberg and the other important fortifications near the Russian border.
now after a few turns I noticed that they no longer appear in my Objective list.
Is this supposed to happen? Did I miss something or did something to break it?

Also when I toggle to enemy objective list it stays the same.

The objectives that disappeared were only valid for the first couple of turns, so nothing broke. :)
This is to provide incentive for the historical early-war offensives (or whatever your chosen war plan wants you to do).

Those August 1914 objectives also serve to prod the AI along towards those goals :)

I did notice that both Samsonov and Rennenkampf charged towards Koenigsberg (Russians had the historical plan) but alas with the Moltke Plan I had plenty of armies to do a devastating pincer and really gave them a proper trashing
