Evacuating Africa [Central Powers]

I was wondering if it is smart to evacuate Africa while playing as the Central Powers?

My game has hit December 1914 and i have sent several transports to evacuate my main colonial armies to send them to the Western Front but is it smart?

Probably better to keep the colonial forces there as long as they can hold out. It will net you more VP and tie up at least a small portion of the Entente forces for a while.
