Unit Panel Red, Blue and Green columns

Sat Mar 28, 2015 8:45 pm

Gents-

From the manual, page 40:

• Cohesion (purple column)
• Manpower (green column)

What does the red column stand for?

Also:

When new Generals activate, do they appear at a nation's capital?

Thank You for your help.

Edit- the "unlocking Generals" tutorial has appeared, and answered my question.

The red bar is the "life" of your army if its full mean no one is dead, when u fight they will die and u will need to buy replacements in the war producion replacement.

Thank You, CFF.

I suspected that it had to do with element damage.

if the red bar is "life" in example "soldiers", what is "manpower" or the green bar?
i thought it goes like this;

-red bar -> soldiers/equipment/guns -> it shows less bar the more stuff is dead

-blue bar(i dont have a purple bar!)-> cohesion

-green bar -> general supplie -> if my stack is out of supplie i see the green bar go down.

i guess this is some of the translation mistakes from french to english in the manual? i dont know what "manpower/green" bar has to do with manpower, it looks like supply bar.
also there is no purple bar in my game, i have a blue one that shows cohesion. light blue it is :D (last time i checked iam not colourblind ;) )

i hope my observations are right on this, i was puzzled by the wrong colour and weird naming("manpower" instead of "supply") of the manual description quiet a bit. but i thought i figured it out :D

@Pandur,

Spot on. Do keep a watch on those bars, one of the basic and simple things to do. Yours and enemies!.
