New beta patch 1.0c. Install over 1.0b Beta patch.


Log:
- Fixed bug about weather screens.
- Fixed bug about small fonts.
- Fixed some text in clear color in production screen.
- Change cost of some Regional Decisions.
- Change cost of several options for the Republicans.
- Fixed bug with the redeployment.
- Added Alcazar liberated event.
- Added Political Commissars
- Fixed number of men in ships crew.
- Added a few leader’s generic portraits.
- Fixed problem training units.
- New values for VP in FotN scenario.


Old Games wont run well with this patch.

Thank Lieb, me and John are still playing our Pbem so we cant update yet...

I'm glad to see that you've made progress with the Beta patches. Is the game now stable, as I was finding every game I played for review (some 5 or 6 games) crashing at some point - maybe the rail issue, but I don't know? If it is now stable, I can get on with my review - you will know from Pocus that I didn't want to continue the review because I could see that you've put a lot of hard work into the game, but the fatal crashes would have reflected poorly on it. To have gone ahead earlier would be unfair to you if you were fixing the problems anyway. Is the game now stable?

But you can use the exe only, that make works redeployment. Just install the patch in another folder like c:\patch and take from there the new exe.

I have purchased my AGEOD games through Matrix Games, and while I like their auto-updating system, it seems it has not kept up with updates to AGEOD games (this one, and World War 1).

Is it a policy thing, or as simple as someone here kicking someone over there to put the updates on their servers, or someone over there kicking someone over here?

Would be nice to have that better coordinated, thanks. I think AGEOD players and prospective players would be better served with latest versions of games, even if the updates are "betas" (all software is beta until it's no longer supported, seems like, these days).

Okay, thank you. I am not privy to what defines readiness to declare a patch official, so I will leave it to you all to decide.

Suffice to say, I'm impressed with the improvements already available in 1.01b and 1.01c, and I hope other new players will learn to check these forums frequently for updates first, as I have.

Sometimes betas are as full of new issues as they are fixes, but my experience is that AGEOD patches are always a ready improvement in stability and functionality these days, and thus should not be feared.

The link is broken could somebody relink it or to tell me where i can to find it?

it is needed patch b before patch c.

The link leading to the patch download is broken again. Can you fix it ASAP please?

As i told you in the other thread try the official patch, dont use betas anymore.
